Bonny Lea Farm Encourages Nova Scotians to “Do Good. Feel Good”

December 1, 2020 – Today Bonny Lea Farm launched its annual fundraising campaign. This year’s campaign has two main messages, encouraging Nova Scotians to “Do Good. Feel Good.” and reminding them that “Together we make a difference”.

This year has been especially challenging for many charities and the people we serve. We invite you to consider giving to a local charity this year. #supportlocal

People living with intellectual disabilities need a place where they feel at home, a place where they have purpose, a place where they feel safe to reach for their goals. Bonny Lea Farm has been this place since 1973.

Over the past nine months the dedicated staff at Bonny Lea Farm have been creative in keeping participants active and growing while maintaining public health protocols. Everyday, 36 lives are lived, 140 meals are prepared, homes are cleaned, connections with family and friends are made, skills are taught, and emotional support is ongoing.

When you support Bonny Lea Farm, you are a part of realizing hopes and making dreams come true for adults living with intellectual disabilities – opportunities that are often out of reach for people with disabilities.
