In the News – February Issue

February has flown by with lots of activities and work going on here at Bonny Lea Farm.

The renovation of our main bathrooms at Day Program is complete, making them more accessible and easier to clean – with many thanks to the Halifax Youth Foundation. Some new ramps for use inside our buildings have been purchased with the support of an accessibility grant.

Participants have been working hard keeping up with kindling orders, preparing wipers, shredding and more. To break things up a bit, they have Winter Carnival activities on Friday afternoons – movie, games, karaoke and a sock-hop.

New participants are settling in to their new home and work.
