How
Can You Help?
Volunteering at Bonny Lea Farm
At Bonny Lea Farm we can offer volunteers varied opportunities in the following areas: - Lending a hand at various fund-raising events such as The Incredible Adventure, The Annual Spring Craft & Plant Sale, The Annual Lobster Supper, and The Annual Golf Tournament. - Administration tasks such as reception and the Annual Mail Out Campaign. - Working directly with participants such as one to one activities, group reading, computer time, outings, and program assistance. - Offering educational/motivational experiences for employees. Please contact Jane Rafuse at 275 - 5622 about completing a Volunteer Application Form and other essential preliminary information needed to begin your volunteer experience at Bonny Lea Farm. We look forward to hearing from you soon! Donating to Bonny Lea Farm Bonny Lea Farm relies upon the generosity of many people in order to offer quality programs for adults with disabilities. Many of our participants live and work at Bonny Lea Farm and have done so since 1973. Participants come from across Nova Scotia, one participant is even from Newfoundland. Without your support, our participants would not have a place to call home, nor would they be involved in a productive environment in which to develop meaningful vocational and daily living skills. Through these experiences participants are accepted as valued members of the community. Ways To
